After a two-year break, Pembroke Castle’s much loved Christmas Market will return this November. The event was last staged in 2019 and was then unable to take place because of the covid-19 restrictions that were in place. However, the castle team are now busy getting ready for the three-day event that will start on Friday, November 25 and will run until Sunday 27th.
The event, which in previous years has attracted over 10,000 visitors, is free to attend for all visitors throughout the weekend and will feature over 80 stalls featuring the usual festive mix of gifts, crafts, fashion, art, jewellery and a variety of quality food and beverages. Although entry is free, visitors will be encouraged to make a voluntary donation to Paul Sartori who are the designated charity.
The opening hours are:
Friday, November 25 12 noon to 8pm *please note a slightly later opening time this year
Saturday, November 26, 10am to 6pm
Sunday, November 27, 10am to 4pm
Castle Manager, Jon Williams commented “We’re all delighted to be bringing back this event which has built up over the years to become very important to Pembroke and the local area, both economically and also because of the feelgood factor it creates. My thanks go to the stallholders who have been very patient over the past couple of years, and after a long break have committed to supporting our event once again. I’d also like to offer our thanks to Valero and Pembroke Town Council who will be supporting the event again.”
More details will follow in the up-coming weeks.
