Funny, vibrant, and blunt as a hammerhead

Written and performed by tv sensation Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Killing Eve) and directed by Vicky Jones, NT Live Fleabag is a rip-roaring look at some sort of woman living her sort of life.

Following a box-office record-breaking run in cinemas in 2019 and playing to sold-out audiences in New York and London, the one-woman show returns to the big screen this summer and will broadcast live at the Torch Theatre in Pembrokeshire on Thursday, June 15.

Fleabag may seem oversexed, emotionally unfiltered and self-obsessed, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. With family and friendships under strain and a guinea pig café struggling to keep afloat, Fleabag suddenly finds herself with nothing to lose.

The hilarious, award-winning, original play that inspired the BBC’s hit TV series Fleabag, was filmed live on stage in Wyndham’s Theatre, London’s West End four years ago. The production has received rave reviews and has been awarded five stars by the likes of WhatOnStage, Broadway World and The I.

Presented by DryWrite, Soho Theatre and Annapurna Theatre, Fleabag has also received five stars by the Guardian who described it as ‘witty, filthy and supreme’ with Atlantic being quoted as saying Fleabag as ‘Never has being a modern woman seemed so painfully funny, brutal, and hopeless all at once.’

NT Live Fleabag will be broadcast live at the Torch Theatre Cinema, Milford Haven on Thursday, June 15 at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased from the Torch Theatre’s Box Office on 01646 695267 or visit torchtheatre.co.uk
