MILFORD Haven is preparing for a day of celebration, marking its Founding Day this Saturday, June 7, 11am-4pm. Organised by the Milford Haven Business Circle, the event will highlight the town's rich heritage and culture with live entertainment, family fun, and local stalls on Charles Street.

Organised by the Milford Haven Business Circle, the idea of this event is to celebrate the founding of our wonderful town. It promises to be a fantastic day out for families and the whole community, with a special focus on our rich heritage and culture.

The event will be held on Charles Street, which will be pedestrian access only. Note that a road closure will be in effect from 10am to 5pm, from the junction of Fluke Street down to Dartmouth Street.

The day will feature:

  • Live entertainment
  • Free face painting
  • Free bouncy castles
  • Family fun and games
  • Local stalls
  • Heritage and cultural activities from Ateb, the Open University, and Museum of Wales

Additionally, many of of the town’s shops will be putting on their own special activities throughout the day.
