This month, SPAN invites you to the first of five Banner Making Workshops for the inaugural Riverside Winter Fair in Haverfordwest planned for November.

Join the Narberth-based charity at Haverhub in Haverfordwest on Saturday, September 21, 10.30am-12.30pm for a free artistic workshop to build a community banner representing the Castle ward. This is an opportunity for residents of all ages to come together, express their creativity, and contribute to a project that celebrates the spirit, heritage, and diversity of the local community.

The workshops come ahead of the Riverside Winter Fair in Haverfordwest on November 30, where a vibrant musical procession headed by the South Wales Police Brass Band will feature your beautiful banners.

The Riverside Winter Fair, a free community event funded by Pembrokeshire County Council through the UK Government Levelling Up fund and organised by Yume Creative and SPAN Arts, promises a magical winter festival atmosphere. The day will culminate at the main stage with a performance of Cantata with local children’s choirs and orchestras.
