Fishguard is set Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! an event that is sure to get fans of the Swedish supergroup excited - with its first ever ABBA themed music festival.

ABBAGwaun Fest will take place on the weekend of July 5 to 7 - with a range of live music, fancy dress competitions, quizes, bingo, movies, themed food as well as the much anticipated Eurovision sand castle competition on Goodwick sands.

Some of these events are ticketed, but most are free entry.

Friday night will kick off with a ticketed event only from 6pm when tribute band Bjorn Belief perform at Tregroes Pantry & Restaurant.

The fun on Saturday starts throughout the town from 12pm; and features an ABBA costume competition and a screening of the movie Mamma Mia at Theatr Gwaun. Other venues for live music include - The Royal Oak; Town Hall; Ffwrn; and Cambrian Inn.

Sunday will see proceedings start at 11am with an ABBA workshop at The Globe; and a Eurovision sandcastle comp on Goodwick sands from 12pm

The weekend will end when from 8pm an ABBA parade and sing-a-long takes place in Lower Town.
