On a damp, cold and miserable January day, 14 players competed at Penally Bridge Club. 

Top players on the 29th were Alan and Brenda on 62.5%, followed by Geoff and Paul V on 56.25% and Paul and Stuart on 51.04%. Only 20 points separated the top players from the less able. 

Several regular attendees were absent for different reasons, which resulted in two pairs playing with different partners from usual.
