It’s now half a century since Tenby Male Choir was founded by Graham Stubbs, its first musical director!

Accompanied by his wife Pat, Graham was an inspiration to all who knew him and guided the choir from its infancy to maturity. His musical knowledge and expertise led the choir to new heights, to challenging competitions and massed concerts, as well as many memorable European tours.

During 2025, the Choir will be celebrating 50 years of male choral singing, fundraising for charities and good causes, showcasing local youn musicians and supporting the local economy by entertaining visitors and acting as ambassadors for Tenby and Pembrokeshire.

The Choir’s programme for the year begins in April with a fundraising coffee morning at the Harbwr Bar, Saundersfoot on April 4, 10am-12 noon. Later that evening, the Choir will be supporting Ysgol Greenhill at their Community Concert from 7pm which also features the Denmark Street Band. Tickets for this event are available from the School or online from www.ticketsource.co.uk/ysgol-greenhill

On Thursday, April 10, the choir formally launches its season with a full concert at St Mary’s Church, Tenby at 7.30pm. Admission £10 on the door; accompanied children under 16 free. Doors from 7pm.

Later in the month, the choir will be supporting St Johns Church, Tenby on Tuesday, April 29 from 8pm. Admission £10 on the door; accompanied children under 16 free. Doors from 7.30pm.

During 2025 Tenby Male Choir will be performing over 25 times, making them one of the busiest and hardest working Choirs around. Many of these concerts will be fundraisers, so please support your local male voice choir and the vital causes for which they sing.

The programme for the year can be found on the choir’s website, tenbymalechoir.org or their Facebook page.
