Big Country will be visiting the seaside town of Tenby next month, as the Scottish rockers embark on their ‘Return to Steeltown’ tour.
Big Country who has a string of hots across the 80s and 90s, including - ‘Fields of Fire (400 Miles)’, ‘Look Away’ and ‘Chance’ are widely recognised for their patriotic sound, incorporating traditional Scottish and Celtic styles of music into their own.
One of the band’s best known albums was ‘Steeltown’ which made it to number 1 in the UK and was later certified Gold - with the tour marking the 40th anniversary of that record.
Joining the band on the night will be Mike Peters ead singer with much loved Welsh band The Alarm.
Mike is also an inspirational solo acoustic performer and as a two times cancer survivor - founder of what is now regarded as the world’s leading rock and roll cancer charity ‘Love Hope Strength Foundation’.
The gig will take place at the De Valence Pavilion, on Upper Frog Street, on Friday, October 25.
