The Tenby Project was a bit quieter than normal, it being Bank Holiday Monday, but the coffee morning went ahead and was enjoyed by those who came. Thanks to Chris Hughes who was kept busy making drinks for everyone!
As one of the Tenby Project’s directors was spending the day, it was decided that it would be great to have a picnic. After making rolls and drinks to bring, the group drove off to Colby for a lovely afternoon exploring the wildflower meadow and watching the water boatmen insects walking about on the stream. After a hot drink in the café and a nose in the second-hand book shop, everyone headed back to Augustus Place Community Hall and the film-showing and gaming equipment had a test run. Altogether an excellent day!
This Monday, September 5, the coffee morning will be on in Augustus Place Community Hall from 11am to 12 noon as usual and everyone is welcome; it is a friendly and welcoming coffee morning where you can always find someone to chat to. In the afternoon, the Tenby Project will be learning about ‘Positive Behaviour Support’, how we can all help each other to stay happy, calm and contented. Everyone is welcome to join the Tenby Project in Augustus Place Community Hall from 1.30pm to find out about this.
