In September, St. Florence School will be able to admit three-year old children on a part-time basis. The governing body and staff look forward to welcoming all new children (aged between three and 11) and advise parents to apply online to enrol their children at this successful school (https://www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/school-admissions-online) or contact the admissions team at Pembrokeshire County Council.
A private childcare provider is aiming to open in a building adjacent to the school in September to complement and work alongside the school provision.
St. Florence School has an excellent reputation as a welcoming, inclusive school with an ethos that ensures pupils are recognised as individuals and supported to reach their potential not just academically, but on a practical and sporting level.
Using our own minibus, we visit local areas such as woodlands and beaches to support and enhance lessons.
The pupils are very proud of their school and, with the help of parents and friends, have recently enhanced the school grounds with a polytunnel, vegetable and flower beds and a pond. They have a rabbit as well as two chicks who were hatched and reared by the foundation phase class.
The school offers breakfast and after-school clubs.
All enquiries or visits are welcome. Please contact the headteacher, Mrs. J. Davies, who will be happy to show you around and answer your questions. Tel. (01834) 871325.
