Pupils and staff of Class 1 at Lamphey Primary School had a fascinating morning with Mr. J. Williams of Café Mor, at Freshwater West beach recently.

Mr. Williams spent the morning talking about the local environment and how he has used this influence to develop his internationally recognised café and food range. The children enjoyed exploring the rock pools, collecting seaweed and tasting delicious brownies made from lavabread.

Headteacher, Mr. Thomas, said: “This experience and knowledge that Mr. Williams shared with the pupils was truly inspirational, and it is great to see a local businessman being successful in an area of outstanding beauty in a way that has such a low impact on the environment.”
