Representatives from Dragon LNG visited Angle lifeboat station recently to present the crew with a microwave oven, goodie hamper for the crewroom and a cordless, lightweight vacuum cleaner for the all weather lifeboat.

Lynette Round and Laura Callan, from Dragon LNG, were welcomed to the station by Julian Hammond, Angle RNLI lifeboat operations manager, and Linda Foulstone, Angle RNLI treasurer.

The gifts were presented to the crew before their weekly exercise launch. Julian thanked the delegation, on behalf of the officers and crew, for such a generous contribution to the station.

Lynette responded by thanking the crew for their dedication and service to the area and went on to say that Dragon LNG was always looking to support local causes.

After the presentation and a tour of the Tamar class all weather lifeboat Mark Mason with coxswain Lewis Creese, Lynette and Laura stayed to watch the launch of the lifeboat.
