Owners continually letting their dogs foul on playing pitches in Whitland have been flagged-up to town councillors.

At the recent meeting og Whitland Town Council, members were notified of dogs fouling on the rugby pitches, with such having to be checked prior to any games or training taking place.

It was noted that dogs are not permitted to be walked on any area of the Parc Dr Owen.

Councillors agreed for the Clerk to write to the Trustees of the Parc advising of the correspondence received by the Council.

It was also noted that no ‘dog fouling’ signs have been installed by Carmarthenshire County Council along St John Street, following a request for such made by the Town Council.
