Local footballer Dylan Rees, aged 11, took part in a Manchester United Soccer School last week in Whitchurch, Cardiff. During the two days, Dylan (pictured) had great fun and developed his football. After the two days, it was announced that Dylan had won the skills challenge, beating over 110 competitors. The next stage involves Dylan travelling up to Manchester United's training ground in November/ December and competing in a skills final - five different skills, culminating in a fantastic opportunity to complete the final challenge on the pitch at Old Trafford in front of the home crowd before a game. Dylan has been given tickets to watch the match that follows along with his dad! The skills final is available only to winners of each soccer school which is touring the country and also internationally. Whoever wins the skills final will get to travel to Europe and participate in the next stage - details to be confirmed. Dylan currently plays football for Tenby Junior School, Tenby AFC under 11s, Pembrokeshire County and Cardiff City Development. Well done Dylan.
