Whitland's Davies Builders Merchants have linked up with the High Sheriff of Dyfed's sponsors to Go M.A.D.!

A number of local projects are benefiting from their support. They include paint for the outside of Span Arts in Narberth and Whitland Town Hall; roofing materials for Narberth Church of Wales' hall; exterior paint and guttering for Llawhaden Young Farmers' Club Hall; and paint for Saundersfoot Bowling Club, to name but a few of the Go M.A.D projects happening in West Wales.

Said Dyfed High Sheriff David Pryse Lloyd: "Our sponsors, South Hook LNG, Milford Haven Port Authority and Costain, provided us with core funding, and Davies Builders Merchants have made a real difference by providing extra special service and prices to ensure that funding goes a long, long way. This is a great example of businesses working together to make a difference in their communities."

Davies Builders Merchants partner, Kevin De Banks, commented: "It's not often I ask my team to go M.A.D., but they were pleased to oblige! Village halls host youth clubs, mother and toddler groups and pensioners' lunch clubs - affecting the lives of young and old in towns and villages everywhere. It's great to be able to help such a wide range of people."
