A Kilgetty teenager has been banned from the road for 15 months by magistrates after admitting drink driving.

Matthew Bradley, of Cotswold Gardens, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on May 23.

The court heard that the 19-year-old was stopped by police while he was driving a VW Polo on Marsh Road in Tenby on April 30.

Roadside and police station tests showed that Bradley had 51 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The legal limit is 35mcgs.

Magistrates disqualified Bradley from driving for 15 months and fined him £350.

He must also pay costs of £85 and a £114 surcharge.
