A Pembrokeshire man caught with £15,000 of class A and B drugs, and more than £18,000 in cash over four arrests has been jailed.

Maximus Goldsworthy, aged 22, of Fishguard, was arrested four times between 2021 and 2023, each time being found with large amounts of cocaine, cannabis and MDMA and cash.

Suspected of being concerned in drug trafficking, a thorough investigation into Goldsworthy’s actions was carried out by Dyfed-Powys Police, with sufficient evidence to secure the following charges:

• Being concerned in the supply of cocaine between May 2021 and April 2022

• Possession with intent to supply cocaine

• Possessing criminal property (£8,100 cash)

• Possessing criminal property (£4,983.35 cash)

• Possessing a loaded imitation firearm

• Possession with intent to supply a class B drug – cannabis (x3)

• Possession with intent to supply a class A drug - MDMA

The strength of evidence gathered during police enquiries led Goldsworthy to admit all offences.

He appeared at Swansea Crown Court on Thursday, September 14, where he was sentenced to a total of four-and-a-half years in prison.

“This offender was highly influential in supplying illegal drugs into Pembrokeshire, and we hope this work will have disrupted the availability of these substances.”
