A former Mayor of Pembroke Dock has appeared in court accused of making indecent images of children and possessing animal porn.
Fifty-five-year-old Terry Judkins, of Bush Street, Pembroke Dock appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday (April 9) to face the serious charges.
He is accused of making 52 category A images of a child between September 27, 2018 and August 5, 2021; and two category C images of a child between the same dates.
The defendant was also charged with possession of a prohibited image of a child.
A further charge aimed at Mr Judkins accuses him of possessing eight extreme pornographic images of a person performing an act of intercourse with a live or dead animal between January 1, 2010 and August 5, 2021.
No pleas were submitted to the offences by the defendant’s solicitor at the hearing.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction of the case, with the matter transferred to Swansea Crown Court; and a further hearing scheduled for May 10.
Mr Judkins who was released on unconditional bail, stepped down as Mayor of Pembroke Dock back in November of 2021, citing ‘personal reasons’ and extra work commitments at the time to his colleagues at the Town Council.
