Concerns over people dumping food waste on a road in Narberth have been highlighted by local councillors who discussed the matter this week.

Speaking at a meeting of the town council on Tuesday night, Clr. Vic Dennis said that Pembrokeshire County Council were aware of the situation on Back Lane.

The issue was previously raised at a Town Council meeting last month, after residents voiced their concerns over people dumping food waste in the road.

Narberth’s Deputy Mayor, Clr. Sue Rees previously said that she was ‘disgusted’ and that the situation shouldn’t be allowed to continue.

At Tuesday night’s meeting, Clr. Rees said that Back Lane was a public highway and you should be able to drive up it.

Clr. Dennis said that the county council would continue to monitor the situation.
