CONGRATULATIONS to pupils who represented Ysgol Llys Hywel in Whitland at the recent Eisteddfod, in St Clears.

The school enjoyed a successful morning, where it came away with a 1st in the ‘reciting’ category; 2nd in the ‘group reciting’; and 3rd in the ‘group singing’. 

Head teacher Mrs Roberts said: “I am so proud of all my pupils who have represented the school this week in the 1st round of the Eisteddfod and would like to congratulate the pupils who are going on to the next round- Da iawn chi!"

One pupil remarked: “I feel very proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and I am thrilled to get through to the next round in two weeks time.”
