About 25 Tenby Friendship Club members met at the school hall of the Tenby Baptist Church on Deer Park for a most interesting talk by two gentlemen from the church.
The first part was about Baptist Churches coming to Tenby, and the process of time before the building of the church as it is today. The second part was about the up-to-date church from around the sixties onwards.
A lovely afternoon tea was served, then a group of members were conducted into the church and shown around. It was a very interesting afternoon and a big thank you goes to Tenby’s Baptist Church members.
This week, April 2, the Friendship Club is back in Augustus Place Hall at 2pm with a talk by the Salvation Army knitters who have Easter knitted delights available to buy. The April 9 meeting is the final one of this term.
The club will start again after Easter on April 30.
