Pembroke and Pembroke Dock Lions Club have donated £500 to Wales Air Ambulance to help them with their valuable work.

Last Saturday, at the Pembroke and Pembroke Dock Lions Club shop on Pembroke Main Street, Lions members Katherine and Laurie presented a donation to Hannah Bartlett from the Wales Air Ambulance.

Formed on St. David’s Day 2001, Wales Air Ambulance is the only air ambulance charity, based in, and dedicated to, the people of Wales and relies entirely on donations. As a pan-Wales service, the dedicated crews travel the length and breadth of the country to deliver emergency lifesaving care.

Part of the charity Lions Clubs International, Pembroke and Pembroke Dock Lions Club helps local people and groups in times of need. They raise funds through events, coffee mornings, and the shop on Main Street, Pembroke, which is open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10am until 12.30pm.
