Poor weather at the last charity event highlighted the need for extra space to accommodate locals and families attending the Saundersfoot New Years Day Swim - therefore, organisers have announced that a ‘community event’ will be held at the Regency Hall venue for January 1.

Entry to the event which is supported by Saundersfoot Sports & Social Club and NYDS shirt sponsor Molson Coors is free of charge, with doors opening at 12.45pm.

The charity swim where thousands will take to the sea in Saundersfoot, will start at 12.30 pm.

Access will be via the Regency Hall entrance. Numbers are limited, and entry will be on a first come first served basis, with the event to finish at 6pm.

There will be live music provided by the Cor y Mor ladies choir, The Sleeping Dogs, and Buffalo Smoke Band.

Food will be available to purchase from The Copper Hog Ltd and Sue's Pantry, with roast pork rolls and cawl (both meat and veggie options).

Don't forget to register for this year’s swim to get your wristbands in time.
