Pembrokeshire County Council has put forward a temporary prohibition order giving official notification of the closure of the coastal path tunnel from Coppet Hall to Wiseman’s Bridge, which will remain in force for at least 4 months.

The latest rock fall happened during the second week of January, towards the western end of the Wisemans Bridge to Coppet Hall cycleway.

The order is necessary to ensure the safety of the public from the eroding cliff face.

It is intended that the Road Traffic Order restrictions (which come into effect on February 27) will remain valid for a minimum period of 8 months as a contingency, should the works need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
