The Dean Bevsy Evans Charity have very kindly donated a set of ‘The Abilities in Me’ books that highlight that everyone is different, to Lamphey Primary School.
These books help children to understand some of the differences they may encounter, and the difficulties that people with certain conditions may face.
These are wonderful resource for the school and will be used widely from Nursery through to Year 6.
A big thank you goes to Mrs. Carys Beynon for arranging this following her son’s diagnosis of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, an autoimmune disease that affects children and teens.
Mrs. Beynon will be fundraising for the charity National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society, to raise awareness of JIA by cycling the Ironman Wales Loop (112 miles). If you could support us in the very worthwhile cause, please make your donation to http://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/carys-beynonjia.
