The 2019 Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Archaeology Day will reveal fresh findings from some of the area’s well-known historic monuments, as well as information on newly discovered sites and ongoing projects.

The event, which is being organised by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority in partnership with Planed, will be held at Pembrokeshire College’s Merlin Theatre, Haverfordwest from 9.30am to 4pm on Saturday 9 November.

National Park Authority Community Archaeologist, Tomos Jones said: “It is a pleasure to see the Archaeology Day return for another day of discussions around various projects and archaeological research that has been taking place within Pembrokeshire. The showcase for this year’s event will be the chariot burial discovery and will include a presentation and exhibition.

“The event will be chaired by Sian Rees and will include speakers from Amgueddfa Cymru-National Museum Wales, National Trust, Dyfed Archaeological Trust, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority and Pembrokeshire College.”
