On Sunday (October 9), the Tenby Branch of the Royal British Legion held a service at the town’s Cenotaph to mark the branch’s centenary.
The Mayor, Cllr Sam Skyrme-Blackhall, laid a wreath, whilst Keith Peachey (Branch president) spoke about the history of the branch.
A mountain ash tree was planted in the war memorial gardens to mark this ceremony and to remember all those who made the supreme sacrifice.
“I would like to thank those from our branch, Tenby Town Council, the cadet force and everyone else who attended our service,” said Branch secretary Daniela Walker.
