Saundersfoot Playgroup has received a boost thanks to a successful ‘Cawl for a Cause’ event held in the seaside village

Following the event at The Hean, Ray and Paul, from Saundersfoot Rotary, were pleased to visit with Saundersfoot Playgroup and Daycare and meet with Cheryl Evans to share the good news that with the support of all those who attended the event, over £600 was raised to go towards the development of their outside space and facilities.

The Playgroup is planning to use the funds to incorporate a green area of trees, plants, flowers and vegetables, as a real benefit to enhance their children’s learning and enjoyment.

Cheryl said: “Thank you so much for a fantastic fundraising event. The children absolutely loved the entertainment and everyone loved the cawl too!

“We cannot express how grateful we are for the support to help our small charity.”
