One of Tenby’s most popular spots has made a publication’s ‘Best Beaches’ list.

Tenby’s Castle Beach was highlighted in The Times’ ‘Britain’s 50 Best Beaches’ list revealed on the weekend.

“All four of Tenby’s beaches are crackers, but the best of them is Castle Beach, between the Norman bastion up on the hill and the derelict Napoleonic fortress on St. Catherine’s Island,” wrote the paper.

“It’s a joyful spot, popular with stroller-pushing families and older aficionados, who bring tartan flasks and Tupperware boxes full of sandwiches.”
