Sir, I am writing to enquire whether any of your readers can help us in our research for Wales's first 'Book of Gardens'. The book will be published next year and will be a guide to some of the finest gardens in Wales. It has already been given the support by HRH The Prince of Wales who has agreed to write the foreword to the book. As you might expect, we already have a number of the big names on board including The National Botanic Garden of Wales, Portmeirion and Aberglasney, but we are also keen to include some lesser known gardens and hidden gems. The book will not only be aimed at garden enthusiasts, but also offered to visitors keen to explore some of the best gardens in Wales - large or small.
