Templeton YFC have had a very busy Autumn. Members enjoyed stewarding at Narberth Food Festival, where they ran errands, handed out samples and helped with the washing up.

Harvest is always a busy time of year in the farming calendar, and this has been no exception for Templeton YFC. Members helped to decorate the church for the village harvest festival and also enjoyed attending the county YFC harvest festival at Pisgah Baptist Chapel.

A highlight of the Autumn has been completing a sponsored walk around Llys-y-Fran reservoir to raise much-needed funds for the club. All members completed the walk, and a really enjoyable day was had by all. Money was also raised for the club by providing refreshments at Templeton village fireworks.

We would like to thank everyone who has continued to support the club over the last few months.

Members have been busy entering competitions this Autumn. Members competed in both the county and national eisteddfod, along with the county winter fair. All members did really well and the club is so proud of everyone for having a go. Everyone tried their best, but special congratulations go to Meghan Williams, Molly Belt and Rachael Simpkins for an outstanding scarecrow, earning them a fantastic second place at the recent winter fair.

Members paid their respects to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, by laying poppies at the war memorial in Templeton during a service on Remembrance Day.

We are all looking forward to the festive season. On Tuesday, December 5, we will be holding a Christmas bingo in Templeton Village Hall. Doors open at 7.30 pm for eyes down at 8 pm. There will be light refreshments available. Everyone is welcome to come along, so please join us for a night of festive fun.

If you would like to join the happy herd at Templeton YFC, we welcome members between the ages of 10 and 26.
