A new store has opened in Tenby - ‘Tools and Tackle’ - specialising in fishing tackle and bait, along with DIY and gardening products too.

Situated on White Lion Street opposite the historical town walls, the shop run by Alan Humphreys and Nicola Jones is dedicated to providing customers with top-quality tackles and equipment, a wide range of tools and hardware essentials, as well as an abundance of gardening supplies - so whether you're an avid angler, DIY enthusiast, or a passionate gardener, the store has got you covered!

The store also offers frozen bait for the fishing community - including everything from sand eels to squid; and mackerel to whitebait.

Offering an exceptional customer service, and a warm and friendly atmosphere, Alan and Nicola have had a very positive response since opening last month.

“We previously had the old £1.20 shop which we ran as ‘Everyday Bargains’ on Upper Frog Street for five years until May when we closed up and moved to our new spot at 3 White Lion Street,” explained Alan.

“Because we don’t carry all of the lines from the old shop we have been able to expand the range of products we are selling, especially the fishing side of things.

“With our new location, we’re bringing you an even larger selection of products to cater to customers’ needs. From hand tools, planting essentials to outdoor equipment, and from rods and reels to bait and tackle - we have everything you require to tackle your projects and enjoy your favourite outdoor activities.

“We are hoping that the lines we now carry offer greater choice to both locals and visitors to Tenby,” he continued.
