It’s time for a jurassic party at Tenby’s ‘Dinosaur Park’ as the attraction celebrates three decades of prehistoric fun this month!
While the words ‘Jurassic’ and ‘Park’ might not dominate headlines as they once did, the allure of dinosaurs remains as captivating as ever, especially at The Dinosaur Park situated in Gumfreston on the outskirts of the seaside town.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary this month, the Park continues to enchant visitors of all ages with its unique blend of entertainment and education.
From its humble beginnings in 1994 to its current stature as one of Pembrokeshire’s must-visit family attractions, The Dinosaur Park has remained committed to providing an immersive experience for all ages.
“It’s been an incredible journey,” reflects Amanda Meyrick, co-owner of The Dinosaur Park.
“For three decades, we've had the privilege of not only creating cherished family memories but also contributing to local employment and fostering lasting relationships with our amazing suppliers.”
With over 40 rides, attractions, and activities, including over 90 dinosaurs inhabiting the park, The Dinosaur Park offers an experience like no other.
From the exhilarating Tubey Ride & Go Karts to the volcanic-themed 12-hole golf course and charming pet dinosaurs, every corner of the park is teeming with excitement and wonder.
However, the jewel in the park’s crown remains the Dinosaur Trail, a mesmerising journey through ancient woodlands populated by lifelike dinosaurs encouraging children to unleash their imagination and embark on a prehistoric adventure.
Speaking about the park's evolution, Simon Meyrick remarked: “What started as a vision has blossomed into a cherished destination, beloved by families near and far.
“I think a big part of the reason the Park has proved so popular is that it has always had the feel of being a family-owned business with the whole family working in the park.
“Our ethos has always been simple: creating a safe environment for families to spend quality time together doing fun things.”
On Saturday, May 18, season passes will be available with a 30% discount.
“It's a token of appreciation for the continued support from the community and beyond.” Amanda added.
