B&M has announced that it will be opening a brand new store complete with its own garden centre, in a welcome boost to the local economy.
The store will create more than 80 new jobs for local people at the former B&Q store on London Road when it open its doors for the first time on Saturday, August 20, at 9 am.
B&M is one of the UK’s fastest growing retailers and customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded products including toys, food and drink, pet products, health and beauty and electricals in their new store.
The store will also boast an extensive DIY, decorating and furniture range, as well as a garden centre.
The new store manager, Simon Rosser, said: “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of new jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.
“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door in August.”
