The Grade II listed Albany Hotel in the centre of Tenby has been brought to the market by sector specialist Colliers International for the first time in a generation.

Occupying a prominent spot on the main road, some five minutes’ walk from the popular visitor attractions of North Beach and harbour, the Albany Hotel dates from the 17th century but the majority of the building is Georgian.

With 24 letting bedrooms to sleep 50, hotels director Peter Brunt says the compact and easily operated hotel offers the ideal opportunity for hospitality sector newcomers as well as experienced operators.

“Tenby is one of the most popular resorts in the whole of Pembrokeshire - which is saying something as the whole region is packed with great resorts, fantastic beaches and wonderful countryside,” he said.

“Getting there is much easier than it was and visitor numbers maintain healthy occupancy levels throughout the year.”

Peter added: “Our clients bought the hotel in 2007 and have spent most of the last ten years building up a profitable business not far from the main beach attractions.

“As well as taking over a sound business, the new owners will have the chance to live in the exceptionally spacious, three-bedroom accommodation which goes with the hotel.”
