Now that the new year has begun, why not get yourselves out of the house and get active.

At Heatherton World of Activities they are introducing indoor bowls lessons for youngsters (aged 8 - 11) who are looking to do something different in 2011.

Lessons will take place on Wednesday evenings, 6 - 7.30 pm, at their indoor bowls centre, where you will be taught by qualified coaches with a wealth of experience in the sport.

Bowls is fast becoming one of the trendier and popular sports for youngsters, so much so that several of Heatherton's younger members, such as Gemma Amos, Joe Dennis and Ysie White, have represented Pembrokeshire and Wales in regional and national competitions.

So why not take advantage of the lessons for £1 per child and enjoy the light and friendly atmosphere at Heatherton.
