A book of condolence has been opened at Narberth’s Queen’s Hall, for local residents to leave messages of sympathy and support for the Royal Family, following the passing of Her Majesty The Queen.
It will be open today (Saturday) and throughout the week between 9 and 5 pm.
“The book was donated by EC Thomas & Sons funeral directors and I’ve worked with Narberth Town Council and the Queen’s Hall to ensure the book will be open next week between 9 and 5 pm each day,” said Cllr Marc Tierney, county councillor for Narberth Urban ward.
“Queen Elizabeth II reigned for an extraordinary period of time, for many the entirety of our lifetimes.
“Her Majesty The Queen dedicated her life to serve our country and the nations of the Commonwealth with a sense of duty and commitment that has been admired and widely respected.
“My condolences are with the Royal Family. I know that the people of Narberth will share in the sadness and loss being felt across the nation,” he added.
