The wedding took place at St. Brides Hotel, Saundersfoot, on Saturday, of Mr. Robert James Hughes and Miss Sarah Elizabeth Lake.

The groom, a farmer, is son of Hazel Pickersgill and the late Tudor Hughes, of 34 The Maudlins, Tenby, while the bride, a checkout operator, is the daughter of Linda Lake and Roger Moore (step-father), of Cappadocia, Cynwyl Elfed, Carmarthen.

Given away by her stepfather, the bride looked attractive in a strapless ivory satin dress.

She was attended by her sister, Michelle Lake, as bridesmaid and her daughter, Jesssica Lake, as flower girl.

Michelle wore a strapless lilac satin dress, while Jessica looked pretty in a lilac Thai silk dress.

Best man was Martin Mackay (brother-in-law), while usher was Simon Evans (friend).

After the ceremony, which was conducted by registrar Joy Walker, a reception was also held at the St. Brides Hotel.

The couple will make their home at New Inn Farm, Redberth.
