Tenby RNLI have been given a boost by five-year-old local Archie Garland who took on a charity challenge over the festive period - raising over £500 for the cause.
The crew at Tenby RNLI would like to say a massive thank you to Archie for his amazing efforts in fundraising for the lifeboat station, after he undertook the ‘Advent challenge’ with the Tenby Aces at Christmas where he had to run a minimum of 1 mile everyday of advent.
Archie managed to cover 47.3 miles and in doing so, raised an outstanding amount of £552.25 with generous donations made to him by members of the community.
Archie is pictured with his dad Rob who is also Deputy Coxwain at the station, and his mum Claire who is a member of Tenby Aces.
