The organisers of St Issell’s Church Flower festival which took place over the summer, have been praised by a local county councillor.

County councillor for Saundersfoot’s south ward Cllr Chris Williams said that he’d attended the popular festival for the first time.

“It was organised by Saundersfoot in Bloom and it was a pleasure to see all the volunteers and local organisations working hard on their displays around the church,” he remarked.

“The church for the majority plays an important part in our community and was lovely to see everyone working together for the community and its visitors to enjoy.”

The organisers thanked Father Paul and the church wardens for their support, and each of the community groups that got involved with displays.
