The Temple Bar Inn, Amroth, raised a fantastic £825.50 for Tenovus Cancer Care during August!

The pub hosted bingo nights, pub quizzes and raffles throughout August to raise funds for Wales’ leading cancer charity, following the diagnosis of one of their regular customers.

Emily Wells, Tenovus Cancer Care Community Fundraiser for West Wales, said: “We want to thank everyone at The Temple Bar Inn for fundraising for Tenovus Cancer. Their support has resulted in this incredible donation which will help our services in West Wales. We also want to thank everyone in the local community who played a part in raising this brilliant amount of money.”

Donations like this help Tenovus Cancer Care to bring treatment and support right into the heart of communities across Wales. The charity’s services range from a free Support Line, open 365 days a year offering support and advice to those affected by cancer, Mobile Support Units offering treatments onboard so patients don’t have to travel, financial advice and the Sing with Us choirs.
