Tenby RNLI crew members hot-footed it over to Pendine to help a person that had suffered an injury.
Tenby's all-weather lifeboat was launched at 1.50pm on Monday, August 12, after a request from RNLI lifeguards and Coastguards for pain relief for a casualty that had fallen and injuried their ankle on the beach at Pendine.
The volunteer crew made best speed to Pendine and upon arrival, the y-boat was launched with trained casualty care crew and their equipment aboard to head into the beach to administer pain relief.
With the casualty now much more comfortable, they were left in the capable hands of the lifeguards and coastguards and the lifeboat returned to station, arriving at 3.40pm.
