A person jumping off a 40 metre bridge in Pembrokeshire into water, saw members of Angle RNLI and Tenby Coastguard rescue teams race into action.
Angle’s all-weather lifeboat was requested to launch shortly after 7pm on Monday (June 10) following a call from the Coastguard reporting a person on the wrong side of the handrails on the bridge over Westfield Pill, Neyland.
As the crew were mustering, a further update was received that the person had now jumped off the bridge, and was in the water.
The casualty was recovered from the water by members of the public and placed in the care of the Ambulance Service, Fire Service and Police officers.
Dale, St Govan’s and Tenby Coastguard Rescue Teams were also tasked to assist.
