Dyfed Powys Police have now opened the public service desk at Tenby Police Station for the busy summer period within the town
A new permanent public enquiry officer has been appointed to look after Tenby Police Station, located in Warren Street, from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
“The opening of the enquiry office is great news for the local residents of Tenby as well as the many visitors to the area during the summer months,” said Sergeant Carl Davies.
“It is expected that the experienced enquiry officer we have employed will be able to alleviate the duties placed on Police Officers and PCSOs so that these officers will be more visible on patrol in the town during this busy period.
“We also hope the opening of the enquiry office will allow us to work closer with our partners British Transport Police, and Civil Enforcement Officers to make Tenby a safe and fun place to visit this summer,” he added.
In addition to the weekday hours, the public enquiry office in Tenby will also be open for the Long Course Weekend, Ironman, and all of the Summer Spectacular events held in the resort.
