Dyfed-Powys Police are investigating after the body of a woman was found on a Pembrokeshire beach.

Police officers and members of the Coastguard attended the beach near the Pennar area of Pembroke Dock on Tuesday evening.

“We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a woman who was found on a beach near Pennar, Pembrokeshire, at about 5pm on Tuesday, April 30,” said a police spokesperson.

“Her family has been informed. The death is currently being treated as unexplained.”
