Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the circumstances that led to the death of a child in Pembrokeshire.

Officers were called to an address in Upper Market Street, Haverfordwest this morning, Wednesday, January 10.

Whilst emergency services were on the scene tasked to deal with the incident, the road at Market Street was closed for some time due to the ongoing incident.

“Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time,” said a spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police.

“One person has been arrested and the investigation is ongoing.”
