Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for information following a fatality in a road traffic collision in Carmarthenshire yesterday (November 5).
Police were called to a report of an RTC which occurred at around 11.55am, on Tuesday.
“Four vehicles were involved in the collision on the A48 eastbound between Crosshands and Pont Abraham,” said a police spokesperson.
“Sadly, the male driver of one vehicle passed away at the scene.
“His family are aware and are being supported by officers.
“The female driver of one vehicle was taken to hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.”
Both eastbound and westbound carriageways were closed while emergency services were at scene.
The eastbound carriageway reopened at 9.40pm and the westbound carriageway reopened at 10.10pm.
