Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for information after an armed robbery took place at a betting shop in Pembrokeshire.
Two men entered the Betfred premises on Haverfordwest's High Street shortly before 8.30 pm, on Sunday night (October 22), leaving a few minutes later with around £500 in cash.
No-one was injured.
“One of the men had concealed his face with a grey scarf, and was wearing a black puffa jacket with a white logo on the arm and chest, hood up, and was carrying a hammer,” said a police spokesperson.
“The second is described as slight, around 5ft 6”, wearing dark clothing and a light brown face covering.”
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident, and has since been released under investigation.
Police are now appealing to the public for information that could help their enquiries.
The spokesperson continued: “We want to speak to anyone who might have seen something suspicious in the time leading up to or after the incident.
“This includes drivers with dashcam footage, passers-by, and anyone with CCTV covering the area around High Street, Hill Lane, Goat Street, Market Street, Hill Street or Dew Street.”
Anyone with information that could help officers with their investigation is asked to report it to Dyfed-Powys Police, either online at: https://bit.ly/DPPContactOnline, by emailing [email protected], or by calling 101.
