A Pembrokeshire man has been charged following a series of burglaries this week.

Dyfed-Powys Police received reports of four dwelling burglaries in the Prendergast and Perrots Terrace areas of Haverfordwest on October 18.

A swift investigation led to the arrest of two suspects the following morning, on October 19.

Forty-five-year-old Norman David Smith from Pembroke Dock was charged and remanded in custody for three dwelling burglaries and one attempt burglary.

The other suspect has been bailed with conditions pending further enquiries.

Smith appeared at Llanelli Magistrates Court earlier today (Friday, October 20) and was remanded in custody until a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing at Swansea Crown Court on November 13.
