A thirty-four-year-old man is due to appear at Swansea Crown Court today (May 27) charged with seven offences in relation to an incident in Pembrokeshire heading into the Bank Holiday weekend, including - grievous bodily harm, attempted rape, and making threats to kill.

Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating an allegation of serious assault following an incident in the Goodwick area on the evening of Friday, May 24.

The victim received serious facial injuries during what was reportedly a sustained attack.

Thirty-four-year-old Benjamin Guiver, of the Fishguard area, has been charged with seven offences in relation to the incident, including grievous bodily harm, attempted rape, and making threats to kill.

He has been remanded into custody until his court appearance today.

A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “The neighbourhood policing team will be in Goodwick over the coming days to provide reassurance to the local community.”
